KLM expands its Summer 16 network by strengthening its position on key markets on the long haul and offering new scheduled services in Europe. However, simultaneously the airline is also further adjusting its capacity to the market demand with capacity adaptations to East Africa and Japan.
KLM keeps on improving its product with the continuous delivery of Boeing 787 Dreamliner. After the completed upgrade of its Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-200, KLM is equipping its Boeing 777-300 with the new World Business Class. By the end of 2016, 75% of KLM long-haul fleet will be renovated with the latest full flat product.
In total, for Summer 16 KLM will increase capacity by +2.8%* (+2.4%* for long haul network, +4.7%* for medium haul network), compared to Summer 15.
