George Mothema has a strong commercial legal background and comes with a wealth of aviation experience. Among other positions he has previously held are Chairman of Board of Directors of the South African Postal Services and Post Bank, an Executive at SAA and Chairperson of SA Express. He is currently the Chairman of Aviation Co-ordination Services (ACS); and is also a member of the BRICS Aviation Task Team and a non-executive director of Afribiz Invest, an infrastructure-building company.

Sarah is a seasoned Project Manager and has enjoyed exposure to different industries (all related to aviation) in different countries. She served as an Administrator and PA to senior executives in Zimbabwe, UK and South Africa before joining BARSA. Sarah has travelled extensively and lived in Zimbabwe, UK, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines before settling in South Africa some 30 years ago. She has one daughter who is a Physics Teacher and STEM/STEAM Leader in Australia. Sarah is passionate about healthy living and is a fitness fanatic. She especially enjoys boxing and uses this experience to coach and encourage young children and women to build confidence in themselves to defend themselves against bullying and GBV. The bush, snorkelling and photography are other passions that she enjoys.
